Joseph Farco

Joseph Farco, through Bochner PLLC, is Of Counsel to Nardiello Law. He is the Firm’s Patent Practice Area Chair and brings deep expertise in patent litigation and protection, along with substantial experience in copyright and trademark matters. He strengthens the Firm’s intellectual property capabilities with end-to-end counsel that spans strategy, prosecution, enforcement, and dispute resolution.

Joe is a licensed intellectual property attorney with a rare multidisciplinary foundation as a mechanical and electrical engineer, pharmaceutical chemist specializing in drug science, and CAD specialist. He is also a patent-pending toy company owner, which informs a practical, inventor-centered approach to IP protection and commercialization.

His patent practice includes:

  • Drafting and illustrating inventions for U.S. and international filings (including SolidWorks CAD and Visio)
  • Prosecuting patents before the USPTO
  • Representing clients in patent litigation at trial, on appeal, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (including IPRs, reexaminations, and PGRs)
  • Securing injunctions against infringing foreign entities through the International Trade Commission and enforcement on platforms such as Amazon
  • Strengthening and correcting issued patents

Beyond patents, Joe advises on patent opinions (including ANDA and R&D planning), trademark searches and registrations, copyright registrations, and IP-related licenses, acquisitions, and mergers. His technical experience covers consumer products (toys, packaging, manufacturing methods, tools, and hardware), pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, biomechanical devices (medical instruments, prosthetics, and artificial limbs), and automated mechanical and electronic systems (generators, turbines, automotive parts, digital cameras, wireless devices, mobile phones, and web-based media applications).

Super Lawyers has recognized Joe as a New York Metro Rising Star in Intellectual Property Litigation (2012–2019) and as a Super Lawyer in Intellectual Property Litigation (2020–present).

Joe and Firm founder Jason Nardiello first worked together in 2009 at the prominent IP boutique Morgan & Finnegan, LLP in Manhattan. That early collaboration underscores the professional foundation Joe brings to Nardiello Law’s clients.
